This is a 3.5-inch Black Cherry coffee scoop. It Holds 1 1/4 tablespoon. I like the compact shape & the wide grippy handle. Perfect for close quarter scooping. The scoop pictured is the actual scoop you will receive. This scoop could be used for coffee, sugar, bath salts or any other ingredient. This scoop came out of a tree from our woodlot in Central Iowa. It was worked down by hand & then was sanded smooth to 400 grit. I then raised the grain with water & resanded.. It was then treated with food grade walnut oil & finished in a food grade beeswax/carnauba wax formula. Just give it a coating of your favorite oil now & then to maintain its luster.
