Here is striking vintage oil portrait of a middle-aged Spanish or Mexican woman in profile. She has a yellow crochet headwrap, & a white peasant top with red ribbon to match her red skirt. She has dark pink roses/flowers in her hair. She is also wearing delicate hoop earrings with red stones & a matching necklace. The background of the painting is a mix of dark khaki green/muted green & beige. The art is on canvasboard & framed in a Rustic style custom wood frame with metal medallion corners. The painting measures 20 3/8 x 26 1/2 in, so a larger portrait. The art is signed MLoomer '53. On the back is a label from a framer in Santa Cruz California. It looks to have been framed in the 1970-80s time period. The paintings in in good/very good as is condition with a few chips in her hair, , on her lower blouse & arm. Not anything too bad at all.
