492-This is an iridescent, pyrite replaced ammonite fossil that was collected from a deposit along the banks of the Volga River Basin near Saratov City, Russia; Callovian Era. Looking at it under a light, you see the red iridescent color shimmering on both sides of the shell. The specimen is displayed & attached with museum putty in a 1.25 " clear cube perky display box.
