Part of my series on the injustices we cause our planet, I named this wall tile "Space Junk" because it reminds me of the vastness of space & the multitude of objects, both man made & other, that are floating around out there, colliding with one another. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Sunrise Movement to help them advocate for social & environmental justice. I layered multiple glazes on this piece using brushing & spraying techniques to achieve unique surface character. Ceramic tile with stippled edges mounted on a stained, solid birch board for hanging. Board measures 10"x10" & the tile is mounted securely with heavy duty construction adhesive. This item is in stock & ready to ship.
