This is a unique estate sale find from an art glass collector. This is a Signed Original Art Glass Vase: Mark Sanders Unique Collectible Studio Glass - Hand Made. Very Unique & Original. It is signed & has 10/80...I think that might be the year. I saw a similar vase by the same artist for sale that said 10/85. Dimensions: Height: 8" inches - Opening 5" inches FREE SHIPPING! Mark Sanders is part of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. Maker Statement "I use several different techniques in my work, but for the most part, I employ the use of powdered colored glasses & frits,(small chunks of colored glass) & then layer that with clear glass know as encasing. Several layers may be used in order to obtain the effects I desire. I often use a technique know as trailing-where you gather glass & string it along the surface to achieve a negative or positive line image in the glass."
