Original hand signed 1862 "One Dollar" note issued by "The Farmers Bank of Alabama" from Montgomery, Alabama. The hand inscribed serial number is "1621". J. Manouvrier of New Orleans engraved this issue featuring a seated female with shield at the center & overprinted with a large fancy green ONE at lower center The note will be shipped in a protective sleeve with a dated, hand signed Letter of Authenticity with a photograph of the currency above.
