#35934 Rare, large brass tea canister stamped Shrewsbury & Co. Importers Great Tower Street London. This tea caddy was converted into a table lamp by Samuel Dinkelspiel of Chicago. Dinkelspiel was a Chicago lamp maker in the early 20th century who incorporated antiques into his creations. His lamps were considered works of art. The body is decorated with incised scenes of birds & trees. The lamp has a lovely vintage patina & sits on a wooden plinth.
