Will I ever paint a place so intricate again? No, most likely not. I felt like I really had to here though, & had to give it my all because I have been long obsessed with Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec. I grew up truly not that far from Quebec as the crow flies, but getting there wasn't as simple as that as the detour you had to take was 1) quite extreme & 2) a bit of an expense for us. As such, unfortunately - I have never seen her in person, but good Lord is she a beauty. As with many of my landscapes & cityscapes I have painted a place that I hold in deep reverie that I have either been to or long to go. You'll hear me say again & again that my goal is to translate my reverie & longing into each piece. I have painted this with funky linework & a colorful bubble design throughout the image to give just a slight abstract feel to my usual style.
