Cork Fabric Roll (18" x 36") with a soft vegan microfiber/suede-like backing. Cork Fabric sheets sized 5"x 8" & 8"x 10" also available - check the the "cork fabric sheets" section of the shop for availability. All rolls are precut & will not be sold in a continuous piece if more than one roll is ordered. For example: if you purchase 2 rolls, you will receive two separate rolls, not one 18" x 72" piece. This fabric can be sewn on a domestic home sewing machine & is great for jewelry, bags, wallets & anything that you would need or prefer a durable leather like fabric. This fabric is thick enough that you don't need to use stabilizers or interfacings unless you want to. Cork fabric is a sustainable & ecofriendly material made of cork tree bark shavings which are compressed & laminated to a fabric support backing. Once the bark is harvested from the tree it will regrow & the tree renews itself multiple times during its life making this material renewable & environmentally friendly. Cork fabric has a similar feel & durability to leather which is why is frequently called "cork leather." It is flexible, hypoallergenic, waterproof, stain resistant & can easily be cut or sewn which makes it perfect for a multitude of uses.
