A very Lovely & Rare Small Sized Advertising Crock from Bellvalle New York. Advertising, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, Cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim & arched tab handles, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "D. Roe Jr. / Bellvalle, / N.Y." over a salt-glazed ground. Measures approx 7 7/8'' tall without lid, 9 1/2'' with lid & 9'' wide. Please zoom up & notice condition / wear. Base chips, a chip to interior of rim, & a salt drip & minor in-the-firing iron ping near base. Lid with a few chips. Piece is in overall good conditiona nd displays excellently.
