This one-of-a-kind fledgling meadowlark dish is the perfect gift for your girlfriend, best friend, newlyweds, back to school or teacher appreciation gifts, birdwatcher gift, & so much more! It also makes a great housewarming gift. I made this bowl on the potter's wheel in my Kansas studio. I applied layers of celadon green slip to the inside & painted little birds on it in underglazes. I glazed the outside of the bowl in hemlock green glaze & the inside in shiny clear glaze. I then fired it in my electric kiln to almost 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. Trinket dish measures 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) high by 4.5 inches (11.43 cm) in diameter.
