Presented is a great little Danish silver & enamel souvenir spoon, from the first quarter of the 1900s. The spoon was made by Peter Hertz of Copenhagen, & commemorates the 50th anniversary of the marriage of King Christian Ix of Denmark to Princess Louise of Hesse-Kassel, on the 26th of May, 1842-1892. The back of the handle is marked 924 for the silver purity & P. Hertz. This piece is in great overall condition for its age. There is a tiny bit of enamel loss to the middle of the handle shaft, but it is only really noticeable upon close, careful inspection. Otherwise the enamel is in great shape with no other losses.
