Description
This mini (small) box series of 6 features Pecan wood with varying degrees of spalt. The legs & knobs are Claro Walnut, paired beautifully with the pecan. Each knob has a different profile, hand-turned on the lathe. Interior depth is 2.5". Finished with two coats of a high-end Osmo Poly-x Satin finish for a beautiful soft glow. Each box is signed & dated on the underside with its number in the series, e.g. 1/6, 2/6 etc. The pecan was harvested & milled locally (Far Northern California). A couple boards had some lovely spalt & I was able to make it go as far as 6 small boxes. While I have more pean, I can't reproduce the spalted figure. So, when they're gone, they're gone.
