We acquired this from an Australian fellow who said his father collected mid-century paintings. We don't have any info beyond that. It's signed "Yves Tanguy" on the lower left but we can't vouch for its authenticity or whether it's "after". Along the edges, there are some small spots where the paint is worn from the previous frame. We recently had it professionally framed. The back is covered with paper & a wire for hanging. A stunning modern abstract original!
