The Jockey of Artemision is a large Hellenistic bronze statue of a young boy riding a horse, dating to around 150-140 BC. It is a rare surviving original bronze statue from Ancient Greece & a rare example of a Greek sculpture of a racehorse. All our bronze items are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination & coloring. Each piece is, therefore, unique.
