This well-made, circa 1910s-1920s leather suitcase was made in Denver, Co by the Swayder Trunk Co. & is loaded with character from years of travel. It is constructed out of wood wrapped with black, pebble finished leather & features a thick leather handle as well as leather corner guards. The case measures 24" X 13" X 7" & has a center button latch (no key included) & two flip latches. The interior is lined wth blue patterned fabric with two leather cinch straps on the bottom section & another pair of leather straps with rigid flaps located inside the lid. The lid lays flat when opened. CONDITION: This piece of luggage is in pretty good shape considering it probably over 100 years old. As mentioned above, the exterior leather has a nice aged & weathered patina with scuffs, nicks, scratches, marks, etc. but no large areas of damage. The handle has some wear but is still sturdy & firmly attached. All the latches work well & Over all the interior is in good shape with no foul odors or major issues but does have a few light stains, marks & some wear.
