Selected fragments from the wonderful Sherborne Missal (now at the British Library) decorate each side of this cover. The Missal was created between 1399-1407 in England, probably at the Benedictine Abbey of St Mary's, Sherborne, Dorset. A very chic, rich-looking decoration for any room. & a wonderful gift for a lover of religious history & art. This is a 9-stage process whereby I apply these rare prints on to sturdy paper-mache forms, & cover them in at least 4 coats of polyurethane on the outside, & two on the inside. The covers are very durable & waterproof, & will last for many years. All the boutique tissue box covers are made to fit over any commercial box of tissues (Kleenex, Scott, Costco, etc.).
