up for consideration is a Grand Tour Watercolor Painting by Italian artist Alberto Pisa (1864-1931). The painting without the frame measures 11.25" inches by 7.75 inches with the overall dimensions including the frame being slightly larger. The piece is titled "Florence" is dated "1900" & signed "A. Pisa". There is also a sentence/title in Italian possibly describing the setting in greater detail. The piece really has a lot going for it. As a Grand Tour Painting it captures the breathtaking Architecture shown in around 1900 in Florence... There is some foxing from years of being behind glass. It appears the Pisa has illustrated a few books & there is a number of prints out there depicting a variety of street scenes in Britain at the time as well as in Italy.
