I don't know if this is from the actual Shiloh Ranch or if it was a prop from the show, The Virginian, however, this is a truly fabulous handmade rustic western boot jack made of wood with leather woven into the top & a real horseshoe attached to the center. A carved horse head highlights the center. Around the horseshoe it states: WORLD CHAMPION SHILOH RANCH The original Shiloh Ranch was in Medicine Bow Wyoming. Based on the style, I estimate this was made between the 1950s-70s. It measures about 13 7/8" long & is about 5 1/8" at its widest point. It's a tad shy of 3" at the bottom & it's on two little feet so it sits at an angle, ready to use to take off your boots. in good vintage condition, this piece shows gentle wear commensurate to age. The horseshoe is genuine & old & has some surface rust. It's free of damage or repair & is both decorative & functional.
