This print is part of a collection of works by Hillary Holmes inspired by the floral work of Vincent Van Gogh. Centered on the artist's 1890 painting, Almond Blossoms, the works embrace stylistic elements of Van Gogh's work. Hillary uses her distinct brushwork & colors while honoring the artists compositional elements to create something truly unique. Saint-Paul is named for the asylum in Saint-Rémy where Van Gogh spent his final months & painted Almond Blossoms (1890). Misty blues cloud around a tree of deep greens & varied blue tones, while white petals seem to float amongst its branches. The soft & delicate buds of the almond tree's blossoms juxtapose against a gnarled trunk & craggy limbs. This seems a fitting tribute to an artist who offered the world such beauty but was troubled so deeply in his own life. SHIPPING: 12 x 16 & smaller unframed prints ship directly from the artist in 1-3 business days. Larger prints ship directly from the print shop & take 2-5 business days. Framed prints ship directly from the framer in 2-7 business days. Small prints are flat packed in a sturdy photo mailer. Large prints are rolled & packaged in tubes. FRAMING & MATTING: Framing may add 1 - 7 business days to processing time. All framed art is unmatted unless requested otherwise. If you would like a mat, please send me a message with your order number. There is no additional charge for matting. Frames size 5 x 7" & smaller use a 1" white mat. Sizes 8 x 8" & larger use a 2" white mat. 30 x 30" & larger cannot be matted. Additional framing & matting options are available upon request but may require an additional cost.
