This is an emerald mine, but these unique quartz points are formed within the same earth supplying the emeralds. These spectacular points were not blasted from the earth but were carefully dug out by hand. My supplier is a member of one of the families who mine these beautiful crystals. I have studied crystals with well-known teacher Hibiscus Moon, & I waited until I had my facts straight before purchasing rarer crystals to offer in my shop. They are truly special pieces! BLUE MIST QUARTZ These crystals are found in the stunning LaBelleza area of Colombia. They have a lovely blue tinted inclusion when light passes through them. It has a misty appearance, hence its name. This mesmerizing effect is caused by the self-healing process when fractures occur within the quartz. Blue Mist quartz points were discovered on the farmland of a local avocado farmer. Since this initial discovery, a few other locations in the region have been found with blue mist crystals. Blessings to you! Jody Note: I cleanse/clear all my crystals using sound. All crystals have a continuous flow of energy, each one with its own natural frequency. Crystals can be shifted from their natural vibration by exposure to energy at a higher strength than the energy field of Earth. This can happen from powerful emotion, computer EMFs, or something similar. When the crystal vibrates with energy not quite the same as its own natural energy, it is "out of tune" with Earth & doesn't oscillate as well. Rather than charging, they need clearing.
