Designed by Tom Jackson, Baytowne is a 6,804-yard, par-71 championship course that has consistently ranked as one of the top golf courses in Florida. Baytowne is a beautiful course that is nestled among the natural sand dunes & vegetation of the Emerald Coast. The course has a unique layout that includes a variety of different holes, ranging from short & tight par-4s to long, challenging par-5s. There are also several picturesque water features throughout the course, including a large lake that comes into play on several holes. One of the most notable aspects of Baytowne is its excellent conditioning. The course is meticulously maintained, with lush fairways, smooth greens, & well-manicured bunkers. The Bermuda grass on the fairways & greens provides a perfect playing surface, while the roughs are kept at a manageable length, providing a fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Baytowne also features some unique holes that are sure to challenge even the most seasoned golfers. One such hole is the par-4 12th, which features a large waste area that must be carried off the tee.
