DANSK BISTRO SERVING BOWL in classic minimalist Scandinavian DANSK BISTRO CHRISTIANSHAVN BLUE pattern featuring rounded edges on white with Blue band. Aprrox 9 x 4 This substantial piece is in excellent condition. On a trip to Europe in 1954, Americans Martha & Ted Nierenberg went in search of a product to manufacture & produce for a U.S. audience. The Nierenbergs established Dansk that year in the garage of their Home in Long Island, New York. Dansk designs are recognized for their clean lines & artistic merit, several examples are held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
