This listing is for a vintage Madame Alexander Baby McGuffey doll. Introduced from the character from McGuffey Readers. These readers were used in America from 1830 through the mid 20th century for early education reading. She still has the high quality of the Madame Alexander dolls. Her 12" body is made of cloth with a composition head, arms & legs. She has beautiful brown sleep eyes that work. She is dressed in her original clothes & has a back tag stating. "Baby McGuffey." I truly believe she has never been played with, because she is just beautiful & in excellent condition. I have included two original McGuffey Readers, The Primer Reader & The Second Reader. Both are packed with the doll. I am not sure if the box is original to the doll, but it is marked a Madame Alexander Doll box. The doll that is pictured & listed is the one that will be shipped.
