Three original Christmas Tree crochet patterns by June Gilbank. This pattern includes three different styles of any-size tree designs - Standard, Narrow, & Wide - so you can make tall & short trees in each of the three different shapes. Each tree is worked in one piece, with a simple, easy-to-memorize stitch pattern that results in detailed, realistic-looking foliage. Make a collection of realistic conifers in any shades of green & white, or make trees in any colour to match your decor. Choose your favourite shape & make multiples of the same types of tree, or create a natural-looking display of firs, pines & spruces with lots of variety in shape, size & colour. The pattern also includes instructions to make any of the trees with a two-coloured 'snow-covered' effect. Yarn: worsted weight yarn in one or more shades of green, white, or any other colour(s) of your choice! (The foliage is surprisingly yarn hungry: my sample trees used between 40 & 120 yards of yarn, depending on the size & shape.) Hook: US E / 3.5mm Size: Samples are approx 3-7" (7.5-18cm) tall, but you can make yours as tall as you want! (Your gauge & yarn choice will affect the finished size slightly.)
