Handmade art pendant necklace featuring the Celtic god Merlin. Merlin is one of the most fascinating figures in the Welsh literature & the Arthurian legend. Merlin is a man of mystery & magic; contradiction & controversy surrounded his life. Merlin wore many hats: he was a wizard or sorcerer, a prophet, a bard, an adviser & a tutor. He was the Celtic god of poetry & prophecy worshipped by the druids & Ancient Britons in the Iron Age. This art glass pendant has been carefully handcrafted by us in our home studios in Sweden. The art print is covered with a clear glass domed cabochon which enhances the image, then set in a high quality metal setting. The pendant measures 36x28mm including bail. Each necklace comes with a matching 60 cm chain with a lobster clasp. Please feel free to contact us if you would like the chain cut shorter/longer. All our art pendant necklaces are composed of lead - & nickel free metal & available in either silver or bronze finish. Please note that these pendants are not waterproof, so remove them before you go swimming or dancing in the rain ;-) Your necklace will arrive in a lovely organza bag ready for gift giving.
