Vintage Japanese Indigo Cotton Gardener's Pants Flannel Lined Peasant Noragi Machine stitched in Japan. Probably from the 1950's. All seams are nicely finished so the won't fray. Thick indigo dyed cotton that is still very dark blue Sewn for field work in the Japanese countryside they protect the legs from brambles, etc. The waist opens flat all the way to a width of 38" but I can't really call it a waist since the rise in the front is only about 4". There are ties on each end. Lined in white flannel to the ankles. The lining has stains from age, mostly at the inner front right hip area. The inseam is about 30".
