A yummy piece of tuna avocado sushi made out of fused glass! Each one is unique, just like real sushi! This listing is for one sushi ornament. Due to the handmade nature of this item, please allow for small variation in shape, color, & pattern. This fused glass piece was handcrafted with love by me, Alison Slaff Carl, in my home studio in New Jersey. What is fused glass? Glass fusing is a form of glass art where different pieces of glass are melted together (fused) at high heat in a glass kiln. in my fused glass art I hand cut each piece using a scoring tool, running pliers, & a grozer tool. Once I have completed my design, the piece is moved to my kiln where it will stay for the next 12-14 hours to heat & cool slowly, reaching a max temperature of around 1500 degrees Fahrenheit!
