A rare Georgian cut steel & abalone bangle which dates from 1800's Stunning rivoli cut abalone/mother of pearl disc set into a cut steel pin surround To either side are cut out panels with cross strips leading to a strip of three rows of cut steel pins All are attached to a gold tone metal inner bangle I think originally this would have been silver plated but this has now worn away There is a hidden push down button, push in clasp The bangle measures approx 2.2" inner diameter & 6.75" inner circumference The thinnest width is approx 0.2" The diameter of the abalone disc in it's cut steel setting is approx 1" The diameter of the abalone disc is approx 0.5" The bracelet is in excellent antique condition with a little tarnish to some of the pins but nothing that detracts The clasp is a little stiff but works very well once you get the knack & it holds the bangle firmly shut as it should - please see all photos If you want any further information or photographs then please don't hesitate to contact me.
