Outstanding vintage Miriam Haskell glass & pearl beaded necklace: ~ Features 7 big huge oversized art glass beads ~ Spun / poured / molded irregular one of a kind works of art ~ Each has it's own shape, color variations, & personality ~ Separated with shimmery large pearls ~ Unique patented sliding hook clasp ~ Double marked ~ This would an easy one to add an extender to if you would want to make it longer Ready & waiting for your neck, collection, special outfit / occasion, or gift giving - you will love this! ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True vintage piece - I am guessing this to be late 1960's as I believe the patent number dates to 1969. METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Specialty hand made art glass & faux pearl beads CLOSURE/CLASP = Patented sliding hook type clasp - manually raise & lower the securing portion by exerting pressure on the jump ring loop to move it one way or the other MARKS = MIRIAM HASKELL on the reverse of the claps & also on the hang tag - patent number on reads 3427691 MEASUREMENTS = Length is aprox 16" long from end to end - most pearls are 13 mm in diameter - except the two end pearls that are 11mm. Pink beads vary in size - but are roughly 30 x 20 x 10 mm thick US RING SIZE = x WEIGHT = x TESTING = x CONDITION = Great vintage condition - no damage or quirks found to mention. Clasp is in good working & holding order. in an excellent state of preservation "A picture is worth a thousand words" Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details & to determine the amount of patina and/or wear.
