Hand-Carved Buddhist Bodhisattva Guru Padmasambhava The Bodhisattva Padmasambhava was traditionally hand-carved by the master craftsmen of Nepal. The figure was carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold & finely painted with acrylic paint to highlight the design patterns of the sculpture. Guru Padmasambhava is depicted in this statue in a royal posture with a semi-wrathful expression. He has a vajra (Tibetan - Dorje) in his left hand, a skull vase in his right, & a trident on his right shoulder. The deity is decorated with numerous body ornament & royal robes which are embedded with precious gemstones. The deity took months of hard work to craft with exclusive patterns found only in Nepal.
