This lovely polished egg shaped stone of orange sparkling Sunstone is 2.2 inches or 55 mm in height. Sunstone is a variety of feldspar & a cousin to Labradorite. Sunstone produces bright metallic flashes when light interacts with tiny plate-like mineral inclusions within the stone. Sunstone is also known as "heliolite" & more commonly "aventurescent feldspar." This lovely sparkling material comes from India.
