These 6 NOPCO Chemical Company stock certificates are dated 1948 & are stamped, signed, & punched. Included in the stack are 3 stock transfer requests, for a total of 9 documents in all. These are in very good condition with normal vintage light browning around the edges, mostly on the top certificate. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ORIGINAL AGENT ATTACHED EVERYTHING WITH A STAPLE The NOPCO Chemical Company has quite a history: 1907 - originally set up as "National Oil Products Company" in Harrison, NJ 1912 - incorporated 1928 - began making vitamins, adding to its existing line of grease, oil & soap products 1940 - at this point, the company was producing more than 2,000 chemicals 1947 - name changed to NOPCO Chemical Company (we have NOPCO stock certificates in our store as well!) 1967 - formed Diamond Shamrock Corporation after merging into Diamond Aikali Company, which merged with The Shamrock Oil Company 1987 - name changed to Maxus Energy Corporation producing many more chemical products 2021 - permanently closed due to bankruptcy Mailed in a padded envelope with reinforcements for safe travels.
