We are pleased to offer a stunning art glass vase with internal bubbles, designed by Heinrich Löffelhardt for Schott Zwiesel, Germany. This emerald green mouth blown vase is of the 'Florida' series - the crashing waves are echoed in the vase's sea green body, shot through with dramatic silvery 'bubbles'. The vase has an ovoid shape with a heavy clear glass base, & a polished raised lip. The pontil has been polished & con-caved. Beautifully constructed art glass with a weighted presence within the minimal, classic shape. This glass vase measures 5" tall, 4" wide at its widest & weighs 2lbs 4oz. It is in excellent vintage condition with some very minor scuffs at the side, & some faint water stains on the interior. Please see pictures for overall condition & details. This small but mighty statement piece would be a perfect addition to a fine collection of mid-century modern art glass, & equally elegant displayed by itself for a splash of color on a mantle, side table or shelf.
