Matusuno Beads was founded in 1935 in Osaka & is the oldest of the 3 major Japanese bead manufacturers. Collectively, the Japanese seed bead companies have made a science of creating extraordinarily beautiful seed beads. Size 11 are great for bead looming, bead weaving, woven jewelry making & other jewelry making projects. Matsuno beads tend to be taller (hole to hole) than they are around which makes them look a bit cylindrical.
