The listing is for a Vintage WWII RCAF Sweet Heart Locket. The locket features a lovely ornate engraved RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) crown & wing insignia at the center with a flower accent below. in 1924, the Canadian Air Force, was granted the royal title, becoming the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). During WWII, the RCAF had operations in Great Britain, Europe, the north Atlantic, North Africa, southern Asia. They became the fourth largest allied air force by the end of the war. Weight: 12.9 grams Measurements: 1.8800 inches long & 1.2960 inches wide Marks: unidentified makers mark Sterling Condition: Hinge & closure are working. There is wear & character to the piece consistent with age/use (see photos).
