It was created with the idea that "Even in a room without windows, if you can see the outside scenery beyond the wall, you may feel open & bright." Inspired by such a window, Studio Ghibli's newly drawn art background image of "Kiki's Delivery Service" has become a "Window Wall Art" that can be displayed in your room! The backyard of the Guchoki Bakery, the neighbouring house, & the sea... All the background art & characters were newly drawn by Ghibli animators for this special project. On the edge of the window is Jiji from behind, & if you look closely, you can also see Lily with a sober expression in the far window. The original layout & background were drawn by Noboru Yoshida, who has served as the art director for many Ghibli films such as "Howl's Moving Castle" & "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea". You can enjoy the beauty of art drawn with Mr. Yoshida's unique gentle & colorful touch. The Jiji character is drawn by Katsuya Kondo, who also worked on the drawing & character design for the movie "Kiki's Delivery Service". Based on the idea of director Hayao Miyazaki, a ship floating on the sea was drawn. You can also enjoy depictions that are not in the original scene. Based on Vent Nouveau paper, which has both texture & printability, water-based pigment inkjet ink with excellent lightfastness & color development is used. in order to reproduce the colorful original picture, it was printed using high-definition digital printing technology."
