an original vintage photo in 1888, a group of volunteer firemen undertook the responsibility of keeping Kenosha free from fire under the direction of Fire Chief Peter Sorenson. The equipment of the Star Hose Company at this time consisted of a one-horse hose cart. It was the first piece of horse-drawn fire equipment in Kenosha These young men are pulling & pushing this cart with the words "Star Hose Co. No 2" written on it This is a very dark & uneven cut photo but so rare to see one of these. 4.00"x2.00" good condition photos are securely mailed in sealed glassine envelopes with cardboard. I have been selling vintage photos online for 5 years & have customer service as my highest priority. I do my best to sell clean perfect photos but often vintage photos have scrapbook on back or some dry paste & that often is unavoidable. I am an archivist as well so often will wash & blot dry photos if possible. I also do my best to describe every detail & if you have question still, then write.
