Description
Vintage 1950's Morris Moskowitz MM cut velvet handbag in very good condition - there are a couple of tiny nicks on the leather at the top of the frame & a splattering of spots on one side of the interior of the handbag (see photos). I did not try to clean these spots. The handles have been replaced & the metal button is an antique gold color similar to the background of the fabric. The catch is a very bright shiny gold. The floral pattern has bright green, pink, orange, brown & blue accents with a khaki background. The interior is a rosy salmon color. There are 2 open pockets & 1 zippered pocket in the interior. The bag is 15" long X 8.5" tall X 3" wide at the base. The handle drop is 6". The MM mark is stamped in gold on the interior along with Julius Garfinckel, Washington, DC.
