This is a small, bright gold, vintage glass topped & gold filigree box with added antiqued brass skull. The box's side is gold, open work Victorian style flower design in the Hollywood Regency design. The hinged top is glass held by tiny, detailed hounds tooth brackets. The diameter of the box is 3.75 inches & is 3 inches high including the three small detailed feet it sits on. It is perfect for on top of a vanity or chest of drawers & could possibly hold jewelry since its bottom is gold colored velvet. The added contemporary skull is stamped, antiqued gold brass & measures 1.25 inches. The original vanity box is circa 1950. This item is sent via US postal service with insurance.
