This Collection Française is produced today from the original 19th Century Moulds with the same quality & techniques used by the European craftsmen over the centuries. ÉMILE BRUCHON was a quintessential Belle Époque French decorative artist known for his lamps, clocks, & bronze statuettes. Bruchon's work is characterized by finely detailed decorative motifs embedded in otherwise utilitarian objects. Little is known of his life, other than that he exhibited in Paris Salons during the 1880s, & that he was born in 1806 & died in 1895. J. B.
