Matte- this is a white matte self-adhesive on which the image is printed, the picture is seen only on one side .. light & sunlight do not pass through it .. usually used by those who need to make a window imitation on wall or other surface. Transparent - Light passes through it & looks almost like a real stained glass window, it give you privacy & in the same the daylight pass through, the design is seen from both sides. On front side is printed the image, but on the back is self-adhesive base that sticks to doors, refrigerators, windows & all flat & smooth surfaces. Light & sunlight do not pass through it. Without any texture on it The decals can be applied to all smooth surfaces, windows, doors, such as walls, windows & tiles. Application is fun & easy.
