Amazing Civil War era micro beaded drawstring handbag. The finely detailed hand work with the extremely tiny glass beads is quite astounding. Closes with cotton drawstring & a tassel on the end. The colors are still quite lovely & bright for a piece this age & the floral design & the village scenes are so colorful, bright & cheery. These are highly collected & and coveted by collectors. Both bags have the same design on both sides. Measures; both are 6.25" height x 5.25" width. The floral one have a bead decoration at the bottom. Lovely condition for its' age. The floral one has 2 half inch hole & a couple of smaller areas that may need some attention or repair/darn, one is at the side seam. The village scene has some bead loss as well. The interiors are good which is pretty unbelievable being silk which usually does not hold up over the years. We are selling in as is condition. Thanks for viewing.
