The process consists of grinding the resin down into a fine powder & then mixing in the Jojoba oil. We then place it in a water bath on low heat for a few hours until the majority of the resin is dissolved. It is then left for a few weeks & then strained. Guggul is a relative of the myrrh tree & is found in regions of Pakistan, Africa & the Middle East. Guggul has a slightly sweet, earthy & somewhat vanilla aroma to it & smells very much like myrrh. Guggul is widely used in Ayurveda & is said to have many benefits. It is also commonly used for relaxation & is said to have many skin beneficial properties. in skincare, Guggul is said to help rejuvenate & help with a more supple appearance. Guggul has many other benefits & we highly encourage you to research these for yourself. This oil can be used as is or to make other products including balms, serums & many more. We do not use aluminum bottles due to the fact they are lined with epoxy resin which contains BPA & leaches into the product. Also, some oils react to aluminum. Amber glass has proven over time to be the best, to store, & ship oils in, & it is recyclable. Anything below 4 ounces will be shipped in white or amber glass dropper bottles.
