A stunning antique late Georgian period (1714-1837) 1.16 ctw old mine cut & Peruzzi cut diamond band/ring set in sterling silver & 14k yellow gold. This very beautiful antique Georgian period diamond ring features a sterling silver face, as was typical of the period, & all cut down collet settings with a larger center old mine cut diamond flanked by four smaller diamonds (3 Peruzzi & 1 rose cut) which lead to unusual two final tulip set old mine cut diamonds & a smooth rear yellow gold band. The backs were most likely originally closed & have been opened at some point in history for easier wear & cleanability. The band is in excellent condition for it's age & may be a replacement in the Victorian period (1837-1901), but I cannot be sure, tests for 14k gold.
