My proprietary Midnight Merlot glaze is a thick, rich, artistic combination of three glazes (and a few technique tricks) that shows dark wine, burgundy, black, gray, & multiple shades of deep renaissance reds. The bottom edge of the glaze has a tactile dimension, sometimes subtle, sometimes very thick & flowing. Uniquely luxurious, this glaze took me two years to perfect. (This is also quite an expensive glaze & hikes the pricing up.) This piece shows my signature diagonal dip for a juxtaposed meeting of glossy glaze & smooth satin dark clay. The bottle is about 6" tall & holds 12 oz comfortably. The cups are just over 2" tall & hold 2 oz comfortably. Together, they make an elegant statement & an artful presentation.
