Chest 22 in. Length 25 in. Sleeve 20 in. Tag Says: No tag This shirt is a 1983 original from the legendary skateboard company Powell Peralta, founded by & named after George Powell & Stacy Peralta. The company was known particularly for their impressive team of professional skaters, the Bones Brigade, which featured some of the biggest names in the sport such as Steve Caballero, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerro, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Kevin Harris, & Alan Gelfand. This shirt however, is for arguably their most famous member, Tony Hawk. Hawk began his career as a professional skater at only fourteen years old & he managed to be named the National Skateboard Association world champion twelve years in a row. Despite this early success, it was in 1999 when Hawk truly became a legendary pop culture icon. That was the year he became the first skater to ever land a "900". Hawk has been quoted saying that the day he nailed the "900" was the best day of his life, & shortly afterwards he chose to retire from professional skate competitions.
