NATURAL GUATEMALAN JADE MAYAN FIGURE NECKLACE Here is a very unique necklace! It was carved by my friend in Copan Ruinas, Honduras at my shop there. He is a descendant of the Chor'ti Maya. Seated figures like this can be found in the ruins there, Copan. This one was carved from a very rare orange jadeite known as "Champagne". It is orange with a hint of green. It's also translucent, as you can see from the photos. My sister made the macrame necklace, & it's colors match the natural jadeite perfectly. The necklace is made from a sturdy waxed cord knotted hundreds of time in a spiral micro macrame. Jade has been used as a sacred stone for centuries, bringing serenity, wisdom, balance & all things associated with the best of spiritual practices. Beautiful Guatemalan Jadeite comes in a range of colors: whites, greens, browns & even black. These necklaces are adjustable are sturdy enough to wear in the shower on the beach; they last for years!
