Rare & unique Emerson model CR-262 radio, 5 tubes, AM reception. The beautiful & iconic wood case was manufactured by the Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol, CT, of book-matched American walnut with inlay. Ingraham was founded in the 1850's & became famous for their beautiful mantel clocks. Ingraham began manufacturing radio cases in the 1930's for several different radio manufacturers, but only Emerson specifically credited Ingraham. The chassis & all components have been reviewed by a pro tech. Any failed or weak components such as tubes, capacitors & resisters were replaced. Case retains its original finish (looks great!) & original decals. New power cord, original knobs. Plays well across the dial. The radio measures 10"L x 6"H x 5"W.
