Description

The common mullein seeds were harvested at my grandparents' property in Marcellus, MI. Their home sits on an upland surrounded by hardwood swamps, & many native flower species call their property home. Mullein seeds are found in these many small, round seed pods that are very difficult to open because of how hard they are. Because of this, there may be some debris left in the seed packets, but each seed packet has well over 100 seeds. Mullein seeds require light to germinate. Sow seeds 8-12" apart on the soil surface & press lightly to settle. Seeds will sprout in 12-15 days. Planting is best done between February & April indoors in a well-lit area (lots of natural light). After the last frost of the year transplant the plant outdoors in a well-lit area with well-drained soil. Shipping: Some orders will be shipped via stamp at the buyer's expense of 0.30 with an extra 10 cents per item. Others will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage at the buyer's expense of $4 with an extra 5 cents per item. If you order a mix of both, it should default to the Ground Advantage.
